As we were walking on Penge High Street, I spotted something wrong in the window of the cake shop (which opened a few months ago and always seems rather busy, despite its cakes being on the garish and, not in a good way, over-the-top side).

We were woken up at 8:05 am by a knock on the door. It was the postman.
There was a parcel for Adrian (london1952): 40 mixed Guernsey roses sent by a "secret admirer"!
